Discover the story, vision, and mission behind Chesed Diary.
“Chesed” pronounced as “Hesed.” is a Hebrew word that speaks to benevolence, loving kindness, and generous action.
At Chesed Diary, that spirit is at the heart of everything we do. We are sustained by the generosity of donors, partners, and communities who believe that every child deserves access to quality education.
And “Diary”? That is our commitment to remembrance and accountability. We document the journey of every act of generosity and the impact it creates, capturing stories of hope, learning, and changed lives. Chesed Diary is our living record of compassion in action.
Our values shape how we serve, how we partner, and how we remain accountable to the children and communities at the center of our work.
Every child deserves dignity, safety, and the opportunity to learn.
We show up with consistency, care, and purpose.
We pursue meaningful, high-quality impact in all we do.
We believe lasting change happens through collective action.
We build for long-term outcomes, not short-term visibility.
We communicate openly about our work and progress.
We honour the trust placed in us by communities, donors, and partners.
We envision a world where every child has access to quality and inclusive education. We aspire to be the leading hub in Ghana for the formulation and implementation of impactful initiatives that advance SDG 4: Quality Education.
Our mission is to expand access to quality, inclusive education for children and youth in underserved communities across Ghana through sustainable, community-driven educational and humanitarian initiatives. We aim to train and raise socially responsible young leaders who understand the value of quality education and are empowered to make a positive impact in their communities.
