The Challenge

Many children attend school without access to the books, libraries, or digital tools that make learning richer and more effective. In underserved communities, the absence of these resources can limit literacy development, reduce exposure to technology, and narrow the opportunities children have to explore, research, and grow.

This challenge is part of a wider learning crisis. Children may be in school, yet still lack the resources needed to build foundational reading, comprehension, and digital skills. Without access to books and technology, learning can become limited to what is available in the classroom, even when that is not enough.

At Chesed Diary, we believe access to learning tools should not be determined by geography. Every child deserves the opportunity to read widely, learn confidently, and engage with the tools shaping the future.

Our Approach

We bring learning closer by making books and technology mobile, flexible, and accessible.

Portable Learning Resources

We deliver portable boxes filled with books and laptops to schools and communities with limited access to libraries and digital learning tools.

Literacy & Digital Access

By placing reading materials and technology directly in children’s hands, we help strengthen literacy, curiosity, research skills, and digital confidence.

Flexible Community Use

These resources are designed for use across schools, community centres, and other learning spaces, making it easier to reach more children in more places.

Help bring books and technology closer to children

A gift of $750 could help expand access to portable books and digital learning tools for children in underserved communities. Help us bring learning resources where they are needed most.
